As long as there have been people on Earth, they have looked up at the Moon, Sun and stars and have wondered what’s out there.
We now have some answers, but many questions remain. Starting in the 1960s, we humans have begun exploring space.

station. But the journey has just begun. Some day we will travel deeper into space.
This section tells you more about astronauts, the space station and manned space flight.
