Offerings for primary and secondary schools

The Norwegian Space Centre encourages young people take part in international activities, most often through national contests, selections of qualified people and financial support by grants.

NSC also directly supports several national and international activities, such as the European Space Camp at Andøya and the Astrofestivalen at the University of Oslo.

Moreover, NSC supports educational courses based on use of the SAREPTA website, under the auspices of the National Centre for Space-related Education (NAROM) at Andøya.

SAREPTA is a space-related website for pupils and teachers in primary and secondary schools. It offers resources for project tasks on weather and climate, ice in the Arctic, studies of ocean currents, Sun-Earth interaction, satellite navigation and satellite communication, as well as information on rockets, the International Space Station and space shuttles.
